At HelloPrenup we take software and data security seriously. Our system was designed with the utmost attention to security and user privacy best practices.
Training
At HelloPrenup all employees and contractors complete HelloPrenup's Information Security Policies and Standards program which includes training about:
Data classification obligations,
Physical security controls,
Security practices,
and Security incident reporting.
Encryption
At rest: HelloPrenup data is stored on Amazon RDS which uses AES-256 encryption and is FIPS 140-2 compliant. Amazon Web Services is compliant with certifications such as SOC 2, CSA, ISO 27001, and more. User passwords are salted and encrypted and held separately.
In transit: All data is encrypted prior to transit using SSL. See our SSL report.
Flaw remediation process
We follow the standard 4-tier Incident Response Phase plan (Preparation, Detection and analysis, Containment and eradication, Post-incident recovery) and have an incident response team.
Vulnerability management process
HelloPrenup is built on tooling that uses automated code and vulnerability testing (including OWASP Top 10.)
