If you are getting a HelloPrenup prenup and want to hire counsel, you must hire one of the attorneys available in the HelloPrenup Attorney Network. You cannot use outside counsel to work within the HelloPrenup platform.

Technically, if you wanted to, you could download your Word document HelloPrenup prenup and have an outside counsel review the agreement off the platform, but you will not be able to notarize with our platform or appreciate any of the other benefits of using the HelloPrenup platform when using external counsel in that way.

If you are in a state that HelloPrenup requires you to hire attorneys for, then you will not be able to download your agreement to take it to outside counsel. For example, if you are waiving spousal support in Alabama, California, New York, or Washington, you will be required to use an attorney on the platform, and not use outside attorneys. In addition, if you are adding embryo clauses in New York, you will also be required to use an attoreny on the platform and not use outside attorneys.
